It is my pleasure to support the Mayors Cup Annual Billfish Tournament. The Mayors Cup is a credit to Envision and your dedication to the City and the benevolent causes that we both support.

Last year the generosity of your monetary donation to Shake-a-Leg  Miami exceeded everyones expectations. Undeterred by that alone you also successfully procured 24 sets of rods and reels from show sponsors to begin a fishing program at their facility. I am sure that the Mayors Cup will continue to aide the City through traditional fundraising for additional aquatic and conservation programs within the City and its parks. By attracting participants to your events from all over the world, you are exposing our beautiful city attracting tourist dollars.

The Mayors Cup is a perfect addition to your company and a very welcome addition to the Citys event calendar for next year and years to come. It seems natural for a city like Miami to a have a world-class billfish tournament that will be a qualifying event for one of the largest and most respected billfish tournament series in the world, the Rolex-IGFA Championship. It is my pleasure to be the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors. With your dedication, I have no doubt that The Mayors Cup will become one of the largest, most popular, and well run billfish events in the world.
